How this tool works

If below target, required consecutive classes = ceiling((target fraction × held − attended) ÷ (1 − target fraction)). If already meeting target, safe absences = floor(attended ÷ target fraction − held).

A quick example

30 attended out of 40 at a 75% target meets the target with zero additional safe absences.

What to keep in mind

Every class is weighted equally. Institutions may count labs, cancellations, or excused absences differently.
