Resume keywords, without the ATS myths

Use the job description as context, not a score to chase.

A job description tells you how an employer describes its needs. Compare that language with your resume to find relevant experience you may have described differently.

Our checker counts exact terms. A missing keyword is not proof of a missing skill, and a matched word is not proof of competence. The percentage shown is text coverage only. It does not reproduce an employer’s ranking system.

Include terms only when they accurately describe your experience. Prefer specific examples over keyword lists. Preview your exported resume, check that the text can be selected, and follow the employer’s requested file format.
